Many years ago, lets say 17 or 18 .
I had the pleasure of making fireplaces for Bobs home in goochland.  It was then i became a good friends with leslie. 
My memories are so joyful and mysterious. We had a lot in common. 
Often , she would hop in my truck and head out for art  materials with me!

She seemed so very happy with the poetic saunter of life.

For the duration of the project which lasted several months, we carried on as good friends .but with time and distance, contact faided. 
I am saddened by this death.  
Godspeed leslie. See you in that 53 vette up there someday.


Having known Leslie since kindergarten, I am so sad to hear of her passing.  She most definitely has a place in my good memories from Collegiate, especially in drama.  My deepest condolences to all of the family.

I am so sorry to hear of Leslie's passing.  I always enjoyed seeing her at the Beauty Salon & got to know her even better when I drove her home a few months ago.  I PRAY she finds Peace in God's loving arms.  Thinking of you & your family at this sad time....

I just heard that Leslie moved on and a flood of memories came to me. She  was the first friend I made in first grade in Miss Kolbe's class and we stayed friends into high school. We even had a singing group together!!! It was called 'You and Me' and we performed on TV singing an original song! It's been years now and we haven't stayed in touch but Leslie made a difference in my life growing up- we shared a lot together. I am sending love and prayers to your family. I hope you're all doing okay.

With endless love and sympathy to Barb and Bob and Bobby....I will never forget the dear conversation I shared with Leslie this past January when she learned from you, Barb, that I had that awful respiratory infection and was coughing like crazy. Leslie called to say she "was worried about" me, and she wanted me to know that I could go to our pharmacist and obtain a cough medicine with codeine. Leslie said, "all you have to do is sign for it, and I promise you it will help you, Joy." So, because of her advice, I bought the syrup, and started to feel much better! This was a lovely outreach to me by Leslie, and it showed the caring and loving person that she was able to be.....I will always be happy we had that chat, and always remember her thoughtfulness. Our hearts ache for her precious mother who cared for her  so selflessly with complete love and compassion, and for her dear dad and brother who stood by faithfully and offered their complete love. God Bless, Leslie...you are now safely in God's hands and you are pain free, germ free, and able to soar with the angels like the lovely little creature you are. With love always, Joy and John Nevin

Chris and I were so sorry to hear about the loss of Leslie.

I imagine her in heaven with our daughter, Alex.  I think they will be good friends.

We are told that as the years go by, the memories will become more positive and focus on the better times.
