Pat served in the US Army during the Korean War with the 101st Airborne, receiving the Purple Heart, Pat was a master mason with the Tuckahoe Masonic Lodge #347 receiving his 50 year certificate in 2012. He was also a member of Lydale Baptist Church.
Pat was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 41 years Lois Q. Young. He is survived by his daughter Rebecca Y. “Becky” Hite and a granddaughter Sarah H. Kennedy and husband Whitner of Greenville, SC.
Pat had a lifelong love of fishing on the Rappahannock River and fly fishing in many local ponds.
The family will receive friends at the Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. Richmond, VA. on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 from 1:00 to 2:00pm. With the funeral starting at 2:00pm. The interment will follow at Westhampton Cemetery.
