Linda C. Faunce

FAUNCE, Linda Chambers, of Richmond, departed this life on February 24, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, William B. Chambers and Naomi Sandidge Chambers, of Lynchburg, VA, where she was born and raised. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Robert L. Faunce, a daughter, Angela Faunce Leaf and her husband, Christian D. Leaf, and granddaughter, Lilah Dare Leaf, all of Richmond. In addition, she is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, William B Chambers Jr. and Betty Chambers of Alexander City, Alabama, and two sisters-in-law, Joan Faunce, of Gloucester, VA, and Barbara Venable, of San Antonio, TX.

She and her husband were co-owners of the Wild Bird Center in Richmond, Virginia, for almost a decade. The family wishes to thank the caregivers of Heartland Hospice for their incredible help and support.

A memorial service will be held at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Road on Thursday, March 7 at 2 pm. Interment will be private at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
