BAKER, Mr. Lonnie D., resident of Westminster Canterbury, 1600 Westbrook Ave. Born in Franklin, Va., December 31, 1912, died June 17, 2012. Mr. Baker was preceded in death by his beloved and devout wife, Faye Ballance Baker; two brothers, Judge E. Baker, of Norfolk, Va., and Mr. Harvey S. Baker of Seattle, Wash. Also surviving several cousins, nieces; and a devoted friend, Molly Archibeque. Mr. Baker was a retired associate with Miller & Rhoads, veteran of the 29th Division WWII and a member of the Third Presbyterian Church since March 10, 1946. A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. at the Westhampton Memorial Park on June 20, 2012. Dr. Steve Hartman officiating. Memorial service at Westminster Canterbury Chapel at 2 p.m. June 20, 2012. The Woody Funeral Home on Parham Road will be in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Third Presbyterian Church Endowment Fund.
