Louise Venable Bowers

Louise Venable Bowers, age 97, of Richmond, VA went to be with the lord, in her home on Monday, January 23, 2023. She was surrounded by her family. Louise was dedicated to her family, friends and her church. She is survived by her husband, William R Bowers, three sons, William R Bowers, Jr., Steve Bowers (Lisa), Kenny Bowers, daughter, Janet Gould, son in law Russ Gould, her grandchildren, Russell Gould (Kathryn), John Stadler, Madison Gould and two beautiful great grandchildren, Baker and Woods Gould. She is also survived by her sister in law, Phyllis Atkins and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on 1/31/23, from 6 pm to 8 pm, at Woody Funeral Home on 1771 W. Parham Rd, Richmond, Va. 23229. A Funeral Service will be held on 2/1/23, at 12:30 pm, at Woody Funeral Home. A Committal Service will be held on 2/1/23 at 2pm, at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, followed by a Reception at Welborne United Methodist Church, 920 Maybeury Drive Richmond, VA 23229. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tuckahoe Volunteer Rescue Squad or Welborne United Methodist Church.
