Mae Powell Norman

NORMAN, Mae Powell, of Richmond, Va., passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, the beloved mother of son, Linwood Norman (David Dickerson); and daughter, Kim Harrison (Michael "NuNu"); granddaughters, Ashley and Emily Harrison; sister, Eva Dansey of West Point, Va. She was predeceased by her former husband, Linwood Paul Norman Sr. Mae was a longtime member of Northminster Baptist Church, where she played the piano for her Sunday School class. She was retired from the County of Henrico Department of Juvenile Probation as a stenographer.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 18, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd., Richmond, Va., and a service at the funeral home on Saturday, July 19, at 11 a.m., with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
