HIGGINS, Margaret White, 92, of Richmond, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2011. She was formerly of Roanoke, Va. She was preceded in death by her parents, William J. and Angeline R. Higgins; and eight brothers and sisters. Margaret was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Raymond G. Higgins. She is survived by her children, Raymond G. Higgins Jr. and wife, Mary, of Indio, Calif., William J. Higgins and wife, Marjorie of Fleming Island, Fla., Brian L. Higgins of Roseburg, Oregon, and Peter J. Higgins of Colonial Heights, Va. She had 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, four nieces and six nephews.
There will be a visitation at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Richmond at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 22, 2011, and the Funeral Mass to follow at 11 a.m., celebrated by Father Arsenault nb. There will be a graveside service at 2 p.m., on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Roanoke, Va. Condolences may be left at woodyfuneralhomeparham.com
