

EDWARDS, Margaret Rebecca Wolffe “Becky,” 98, of Richmond, Va., went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Becky was a true southern lady who loved God and her family. She had a kind and gentle spirit and touched many lives during her long life. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Bernard Wolffe and Margaret Clements Wolffe of Gloucester, Va. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond C. Edwards and her sister, Hester W. Spivey. She attended Mary Washington College. She was a longstanding member of Grove Avenue Baptist Church, where she served in many leadership roles in women’s ministry, television ministry and ministry outreach. She was a dedicated homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Edwards Witte and husband, Joseph, of Montpelier Va.; grandsons, Collin E. Witte and wife, Jenna and Mason J. Witte, all of Richmond; great- granddaughter, Sailor Dare Witte of Richmond, Va.; nephew, Charles T Spivey and wife, Sara, of Warsaw Va.; niece, Margaret L. Spivey of Mechanicsville, Va.; great-niece, Jenny S. McMurray and husband, Luke, of Charlotte, N.C.
