She is preceded in death by Husband, John D. Velleca, Parents, George and Virginia Potter, Sister Madeleine Gibbons and Brother George Potter. She is survived by sister, Dorothy Canham, children, Maria V. Williams (Sonny), Kathleen V. Huddleston (Shelton), Nancy V. Richardson (Al), Grandchildren, Brittany Hall (Tab), Sean Bartgis (Linsey), Andrew Huddleston, many nieces, nephews and host of family and friends. She was a bus aide for over 20 years for Henrico County for Virginia Randolph Education Center.
A Visitation will be held Friday, November 8, 2024, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Woody Funeral Home, Parham Chapel, 1771 N. Parham Road, Richmond, VA 23229. Service of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Woody Funeral Home, Parham Chapel, 1771 N. Parham Road, Richmond, VA 23229 following a graveside Service at Westhampton Memorial Park.
