Marian Smith Irion Stafford born October 7, 1924 in AltaVista Virginia and died April, 13 2012 .she was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Margaret (Maggie) Smith, Also her husband John Gordan Stafford. She is survived by one son; Henry his wife Doris Davis Stafford. Two granddaughters Courtney Leigh Stafford, Also one Melissea Goodman and her two children; Olivia and Austin Goodman also two sisters ; Doris Clarke and Isabella Bryant one nephew and two nieces an d their children . Served as a marine in the Korean War. Retire from the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad (CSX now). Graveside service will take place at Westhampton memorial park at 1000 Patterson Ave on Monday April 30 at 11 am. In honor of request to cremate her ashes will be entered alongside those of her husband John Stafford. In lieu of flowers, contribution may be made to the charity of your choice.
