Mary Frances Lambert passed away early Tuesday morning, August, 22, 2023, at the age of 82. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of thirty-eight years, Thomas "Tommy" Lambert, her parents Leland and Betty Pease, and her siblings Doris Jane, Michael and Steven Pease.
She and her husband enjoyed traveling the countryside, trying restaurants, cooking, and dancing the night away. She loved getting together and entertaining family and friends, especially for the holidays and sibling weekends. One of her most favorite pastimes, outside of reading, was shopping for fun "gadgets" on QVC. After being a stay at home mom for eight years, she re-entered the workforce in the late 1970s in the accounting department at Carmine Foods which later became Performance Food Group (PFG) where she was finishing her career as a receptionist one month shy of forty-six years of combined service and five weeks from retirement. She was well known within the Richmond metro area food and restaurant industry and was well respected and loved by all those that worked with her over the years.
She is survived by her two loving daughters Kimberly Bursch (Lambert) and Ammie Lambert, her son-in-law Randy Bursch, her two grandchildren Katherine Lawrence and Tommy Bursch, and her siblings Kay Crute, Brenda VanLear, Barbara Wallace, Patricia "Tricia" Williams, and David Pease.
A visitation for Mary Frances will be held Sunday, August 27, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 North Parham Road, Richmond, VA 23229, followed by a memorial service from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
