

NOBLE, Mary Boggs, 85, passed away on April 3, 2017. Mary was the beloved daughter of the late Lucyle Mosby Boggs and Edmond Mac Boggs. She was predeceased by her husband, William Emil Noble Jr., the love of her life. She is survived by four children, Hunter Noble Gundlach (Tim), Suzanne Noble Charnock (Scott), Gwynn Norman Noble and William Michael Noble (Debbie). Mary had six grandchildren, Sarah Gundlach Williamson (Whit), Charles Michael Gundlach (Lauren), Hunter Randolph Charnock, Kemis Ann Noble, William Scott Noble Charnock and Andrew Michael Noble; and two great-grandchildren, Emerson Weldon Williamson and Charles Whitney Williamson. Born on February 11, 1932, Mary was a devoted wife and an amazing mother. Family came first for her in every instance. She was a loyal friend; in fact, she never met a stranger. Her sharp wit and caring demeanor endeared her to everyone who came in contact with her, both young and old. She was a member of The Tuckahoe Woman's Club, the Tri-Club, and Hermitage Country Club. Mary loved playing bridge and golf, and she treasured the time spent with her family and friends at the beach each year. She was always there to serve others, and she will be deeply missed by many. Hers was a life well-lived. Private burial will be at Westhampton Memorial Park, Thursday at 3 p.m. The family will receive friends Thursday, from 4 to 7 p.m., in the Fellowship Hall at Cedarfield. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Baptist Church or The Virginia Home. Arrangements under the direction of Woody Funeral Home-Parham, Richmond, VA.
