MCKINNEY, Melissa Faye, age 47, of Powhatan Va., passed away July 19, 2017 after a brief illness. Beyond a long, successful career, Melissa was best known as devoted wife and mother. She is joined in death with her father, Leroy Shue; Grandmother, Myrtle Shue; Grandfather Carl Shue; Step-Father Tom Hall; Aunt ,Judy Arabia; and Cousin Robbie Shue. Melissa is survived in death by her husband Chad, son Nick and daughter Abigail. She is also survived by her mother, Jennifer Hall; and three brothers, David, Ricky and Roger Shue. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 24, at Woody Funeral Home-Parham, 1771 N. Parham Rd, Richmond, Va. 23229. Interment will be in Parsons, Kansas.
