Jack was an avid tennis player, sailor, biker and photographer. Jack grew up in Lancaster County, attending Christ Church School. Jack is survived by his three children and their families, Robert Nuckols and his wife, Karen and their daughter, Caroline, of Frenchtown, New Jersey; Milton Nuckols and his wife, Donna and their sons, Kyle and William (Ryan), of Jacksonville, Florida; and Maryann Combs and her husband, Tre', and their children, Garrett, Rylin, Klian, Jewel and Cora, of Richmond. Jack is also survived by his brother, Mark Hawpe and his wife, Joyce, of Doswell, Virginia; sister, Barbara Lewis and her husband, Brian, of Orcas Island, Washington; as well as by many nieces and nephews.
