Dear Herbert,Faye,Carol and all the family. Henry and I are deeply sad to hear of your loss. Myrtle was my very dear friend and co worker at Verizon in Roanoke. I have great memories of our times there and our visits to see Myrtle and Herbert at their home in Richmond. Myrtle will be deeply missed by us. May God be with you all during this time. Know the grandchildren will have great memories of their grandmother. We are here for you if you ever need us. You are in our thoughts and prayers. In loving friendship and sympathy, Rosetta and Henry Howard

We are deeply sorrowed at the death of Mrs. Griffin. She was a wonderful friend and neighbor. We were always impressed with the strong bonds and support within the extended Griffin family and know her love was a keystone in those relationships. Peace be with you.

I had the privilege of meeting Mrs Griffin some years ago.She was a client at the beauty shop I work in, even though she was struggling with Alzheimer's, she was a beautiful woman inside & out. It was obvious she was so very loved by her family. I'll never forget Andrew telling me about his grandparents, where they lived, worked and about their lives. I was struck by the details he shared and how much he loved and admired them....what a legacy Myrtle &. Herbert have given their family! I've been blessed to know you all and am so sorry for your loss. My deepest sympathies to a wonderful caring family. You are the epitome of what a family should be! Good job Herbert, Carolyn, Bob &. Andrew,Philip & Faye
May God grant you comfort & peace. Love you
