

Pamela Joan Davis passed away peacefully and surrounded by love on August 9, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill & Margaret Floyd, her brother, Robert Floyd, her sons, James Fox, Chip Fox, and Jason Davis, and her infant daughter, Tracey Fox.
She is survived by her faithful companion of many years, Charles Adams, her beloved daughters, Becky Schwerdtfeger (Jim), Charlene Shapiro (Burt), and Heather Davis (Federica), her cherished daughters in law, Sherry Fox and Vicky Davis, her stepsons, Gary and Charlie Davis, and her immensely adored grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Bill Floyd, Penny Vick, and Laurie Delorenzo, her devoted and beloved Finney family, and many treasured friends.
Pam was born in Staten Island, NY but spent much of her childhood in New Jersey. She moved to Virginia as a young adult where she remained to raise her family until Jesus called her home. She dedicated her life to working as a Respiratory Therapist in the Richmond area. Pam was an avid sports fan (Go Commanders!) and her most joyous moments were spent supporting her children and grandchildren in their various sports and adventures. She was also an animal lover who rescued many cats and dogs over the years giving them a loving home.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 pm on Wednesday, August 14th at Woody Funeral Home on Parham Rd. Funeral services will be held on Thursday,August 15th at 12:30 followed by a graveside service at Westhampton Memorial Park at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Richardsons Rescue in her honor. We would like to thank the caring staff at James River Hospice as well as Beth Rhamy, PA, John Sentz MD, and the other medical providers that gave her such wonderful care throughout her illness. Also, a special thank you to all of the amazing friends and family who have expressed their love and support during this time.
