Patricia Joy Barber

Patricia J. Barber, born June 11, 1940 in Rochester, NY, ascended into Heaven on April 9, 2021. She was preceeded in death by her beloved husband, Robert L. Barber Sr.; her father and mother, William L. Heid and May Sarah Nelson Heid Moskowitz; her three brothers, Richard, William and John; her sister, Jean Fleming; and great grandson, Jaden. Pat leaves behind her daughters Carolyn B. FitzPatrick (Albert), Robyn B. Morris (Scott); sons Robert and Richard Barber. Pat also leaves behind two step children, Kenneth Barber and Sandra B. Wilson; ten grandchildren, Kimberly (George), Kevin, Kyle (Taylor), Kellie, Robert (Alexis), Albert (Sarah), Alexandra, Kailey, Christopher and Elena; one great grandchild, Kassidy; one great grandchild on the way, Albert; four step grandchildren, Christine, Thomas, Veronica and Julie; six step great grandchildren, Leeah, Olivia, Lydia, Brooke, Eden and Ryker; her sister, Sharon Heid Dermo (John); her sister-in-law Lucille Heid; and many beloved family and friends. Pat was an employee of McKesson Medical Surgical where she worked in accounts receivable for 25 years prior to retiring in 2009. Pat truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures: chatting with friends and family, caring for her grandchildren, creating beautiful picture albums, doll houses and quilts. She thoroughly enjoyed listening to and watching the waves crashing at the ocean. Pat really enjoyed shopping and lunching with her special friends, Barb, Jeanette, and Carol. She recently enjoyed visiting her long-time childhood friend, Carole and her husband John in New York and in Florida. During COVID, Pat put her sewing skills to good use by sewing masks for all her loved ones. Pat had a knack for documenting and memorializing every occasion and never missed an opportunity to send someone a card and brighten their day.
