Clowes, Patricia R, 83, of Rockville, VA went to be with the Lord December 26, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Betty Roberts; and sister, Ruth Ann Roberts Elder. She is survived by her loving husband, William E. “Bill” Clowes; daughter, Susan Dunfee (Hazen); and granddaughters, Hannah Dunfee and Jordan Dunfee.
Pat was a member of the Rockville Women’s Club, a member of the Rockville Women’s Bowling League, and a member of Berea Baptist Church. She was a longtime manager of the Cochrane-Rockville Library where she enjoyed interacting with patrons until her retirement in 2007. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother, and enjoyed spending time with family.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 5, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd., Richmond, VA. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. in the chapel with interment at 2:30 p.m. in Berea Church Cemetery in Rockville, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of the Cochrane–Rockville Library.
