Peggy Bartlett Jones Gammon, 71, went to her Heavenly Home, on Tuesday, December 3, 2013. Peggy was preceded in death by her first husband, Mike Jones; and her father, Edward Bartlett. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Tom; her daughter, Lisa Neault; son-in-law, Chris Neault; granddaughter, Amanda Neault; mother, Florence Bartlett; sister, Gayle Harbison; and "baby dog," Mook. The Norwood family and Sandra Wayne were very special to her. Peggy grew up in Kilmarnock and came to Richmond to attend MCV Nursing School. She was a LPN and maintained her license until recently. She was an Avon representative for several years, but spent most of her time taking good care of Tom and Lisa. In later years, she developed numerous medical problems, but endured and survived lots of surgeries, treatments and therapies with faith, hope, love and good cheer. Our heartfelt thanks go out to all the doctors, nurses and entire staff at Henrico Doctors' Hospital whose care of Peggy was superb. Peggy knew how to smell the roses and enjoy the small things in life. She was a miniature enthusiast. She was a member of Mizpah Chapter No. 32 Order of the Eastern Star, Central Virginia Chapter #28 The Mended Hearts, Inc., Love and Fellowship Group Hatcher Church, Henrico Doctors' Cardiac Rehab Group, and Lakeside Neighborhood Watch Group. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 7, 2013, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a funeral service immediately following at 1 p.m. at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd., Richmond, Va. Interment private.
