Raven Leigh Ellington

ELLINGTON, Raven Leigh Kelly, 40, passed away after an extended illness on Saturday, August 18, 2018, surrounded by her family and friends. Raven is survived by her childhood sweetheart and husband, William R. "Bill" Ellington; her loving parents, James B. Kelly and Prudence L. Harris; devoted sisters, Anna R. Kelly and Laura E. Kelly (fiance, Tony); her grandfather, Dr. John J. Kelly III; her aunts, Alma P. Kelly and Ann W. Kelly and their families. Raven held her friends close during her time on earth. Kelly K., Katie, Tara, Ray and Kelly M., as well as her beloved pets, Brutus and Princess, will remain with her in her eternal heart. Raven was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, James D. "Grandpa" Emmart; grandparents, Linwood R. "Gingy" Harris, R. Narrice "Gunga" Harris and Helen H. "Grandma" Kelly; her baby sister, Lauren Kristen Kelly; stepmother, Marilee Kelly; uncle, John J. "Johnnie" Kelly IV; and friends, Bonnie, Bruce and George. Raven's soul is now healthy as she sits in the palm of her Heavenly Father and basks in the warmth of those that patiently awaited her arrival to her eternal home. Raven's family would like to extend many thanks to Dr. Richard Jackson, Dr. Gerald Quirk, Dr. Ralph Layman, Dr. Martin Starkman, Amanda Ford NP and the rest of her healthcare team for the kindness, care and respect given to her throughout her illness.
