Richard Warren, 89, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord on July 13, 2012. He was preceded in death by his father, mother and six siblings; and his grandson, David Lunde. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lucille Cordle Lunde; four children, Richard W. Lunde Jr. and his wife, Marit, Harold Lunde and his wife, Diane, Linwood, and Tina L. Word and her husband, William; also five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Dick was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, serving on a destroyer, the U.S.S. Decker in the Middle Eastern Conflict, and was also awarded the Bronze Star. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church for over 50 years. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 4 - 6 pm at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home 1771 N. Parham Road.
