

BENHAM, Robert Clayton, 21, of Crozier, VA., passed away May 30, 2012. He was born at Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert Cyril Benham and his maternal step-grandmother Sandy Farmer. He is survived by his parents, Chad Byron and Tracey Lee (Farmer) Benham; sister, Calinda Benham; girlfriend, Brittany Smith; grandmothers; Senadee Farmer and Arlice J. Benham; grandfather, John Farmer; great-grandmothers, Dorothy Cruse and Vivian Kniffin, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Rob and his family lived in Minot, North Dakota; Carovigno, Italy; Ft. Meade, Maryland; Misawa, Japan; Alexandria, Virginia and Crozier, Virginia. Rob participated in Boy Scouts, wrestling, and football. He graduated from Goochland High School in 2009 and attended J. Sergeant Reynold’s Community College. He worked at Lowe’s for 2 years and was currently working as an apprentice electrician for Cole Electric. Rob enjoyed spending time outdoors, riding his motorcycle, hunting, working on cars, and spending time with friends. He had a good sense of humor with a mischievous smile that always lightened a room. He had a free spirit and lived life without regret. The family will receive friends at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. on Monday, June 4, 2012 from 6 to 8 pm, where services will be held 2 pm on Tuesday, June 5th with internment at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
