COLLIER, Robert Frank Sr., 81, of Henrico, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2014. He was born in Georgia. Robert retired in 1995 from Unitherm Inc. Insulation Contractors, and was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army as a Sergent from 1952 to 1955.
Robert was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Doris Dean Collier; and is survived by his children, Gloria Dean Kirkland and husband, Richard, Robert Collier Jr. and Barbara Ann Collier; four grandchildren, Heather M. Collier, Mary E. Collier, April Lynn Harris and Amanda Leigh Harris; three great-grandchildren, Hannah M. Collier, Donovan R. Harrison and Ahliyah L. Jackson; his siblings, Billy, Helen and Sarah; and many loved nieces, nephews and family friends.
The family will receive friends one hour before service. A service will take place on Friday, October 24, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Lighthouse Baptist Church on Staples Mill Road, with interment to follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be left at www.woodyfuneralhomeparham.com
