Robert Conway Duffer Sr., 83, died December 26, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Marcellus Duffer and Evelyn Marie Duffer; and a older brother, Francis B. Duffer. He is survived by his younger brother, Philip R. Duffer (Mary Kathryn); sons, Robert C. Duffer Jr. (Cathy) and Mark A. Duffer (Vicky); three grandchildren, Robert C. Duffer III, Mark Benjimen Duffer and Sarah Lynne Duffer. He was a graduate of John Marshall High School, where he was a member of the Cadet Corps He spent two years in the U.S. Army serving his country during the Korean War. He retired from the Federal Reserve Bank in Richmond. He spent his remaining years in Virginia's Northern Neck. The family will receive friends at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. on Monday, December 29, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 30 in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
