As former neighbors of the McGuigans, we were all shocked and very sad to hear of Bob's passing. He and his sister Nancy, my brothers Tom and Bob, and I spent our childhoods together. Our deepest condolences to the whole family. God bless.

 I start working for bob in august 2020 and from day one had admiration for bob and how he lead the team. We both shared the love of woodworking and talked of tools and things related.  he was like an Uncle guiding me through the in’s and out’s of Habitat for Humanities daily activities,  His upbeat and effervescent personality motivated me to follow his footsteps and build that love for my job that I always saw in him. I’m totally distraught at his passing and will miss him dearly. To Bob's family....Stay Strong and always remember the good memories, I know I will. “ God’s Love Be With You”

So sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. Many great memories of the McGuigan family holidays.  The Labor Day get together was always at Uncle Bob and Aunt Kathleen’s house. Always a great time as we had one last party before going back to school. Oftentimes we would sleep over and go to Cool Springs to play mini golf. Simply put, Bob was a great guy and always a lot of laughs. I hope the sadness that everyone is feeling now is soon replaced with smiles from the great memories of our times with Bob. Rest In Peace. 

Bob and I met on OK Cupid. Both of us newly divorced and finding our way. I shared my concerns about being with someone new and he wrote back, "Call the other guy." Referring to another person I was interested in meeting on OK Cupid. Now I was attracted to him. 😊 The rest is history. We had a first date and enjoyed each other's company. We both knew what NOT to do in a relationship. We valued each other, listened and were honest. 55 wasn't too late to find love.

I am so sorry to hear about Bobby's passing. He was an amusing guy.

One Sunday, Bobby came to dinner and arrived early so we could all visit for a while. As the conversation flowed, the question came up as to whether one particular cousin was older than the other. In spectacular fashion, Bobby took the floor and quickly recited the names of each one -- from Mary Ann to Maggie -- in chronological order according to their dates of birth (peppered with appropriate sidebar comments along the way, e.g., "the Year of the three B's." It was truly an astonishing feat

Bob was my oldest brother and he was one of the funniest people I ever met (and thankfully I know a lot of very funny people). Growing up, he timed his punchlines perfectly for when our sister Nancy had just put milk in her mouth (which then went through her nose as she laughed) which then made us all run screaming from the table. It was a lot of fun. I swear.  


He loved his boys, Lollie, his job, his family, the Steelers, Pitt Panthers (for some strange reason) and telling stories any time. It's hard to process that he won't be filling the room with his presence anymore, but I am so thankful for the time we had with him. I will treasure the memories and his laughter will live on in all of us.
