Robert Allen Wilson

Robert (Bob) Wilson, Sr. passed away at home on June 6, 2026. He was predeceased by his first wife, Peggy S. Wilson, his parents, George and Eleanor Wilson, Brothers, George, Lewis, Leroy and sisters, Emily and Margie and stepdaughter Brandy.

He Is survived by his wife, Kathy, daughter Cynthia (Cesar), grandkids Alexis (Rob) two great grandkids Olivia and Wesley; granddaughter Christina (Galen); Son, Robert (Bobby) Wilson Jr. (Cherry), grandkids Benjamin and Matthew; granddaughter, Nya and stepdaughters Jennifer, grandkids Taylor, Benjamin, Jordan (Brandon) great grandkids Daxton and Daniel and stepdaughter Cathlene and her 3 sons Jack, Nick and Matt. Bob is also survived by his youngest sister, Barbara (Donald) and her daughters, Johann and Amanda.

Bob grew up in Newport, Rhode Island. He joined the Marines at 17 and served 5 years before transferring into the Air Force where he retired as a member of the Air National Guard 192nd Tactical Fighter Grp. He served in Okinawa, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines as well as Panama. He also worked at the Powhatan Correctional Facility as a corrections officer prior to his Active-Duty service with the Air National Guard. He also worked several years at Lowes before retiring full time. He loved going to the beach on weekends and spent a lot of time in North Carolina at his favorite beaches.

The internment will be private.
