To the family of Ronnie Barker, was so sorry to hear that he passed away. Please know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers at this time. I am thinking that now he is there with Uncle William and Aunt Essie Mae and Denny and our mom. He was so good in sending mom cards when she was sick and she looked forward to them so much. We are so sorry for your loss.

My heart goes out to all in your family. Ron Barker was a super special person. Joy and I work together, and I've heard about his wonderful sense of humor, resilient attitude and great love for his family. I'm so sorry for the sadness now. Please keep sharing the sweet memories, as each one is truly a gift to the listener.

I worked with Ron many years ago at Dominion. He was absolutely the smartest, funniest and nicest guy ever! Everyone has a story (or many) to tell about Ron! There were always laughs with him and he taught many people many things. My deepest sympathy to his family. I know he will be greatly missed by so many.

Eugene (son of Tommy and Emily Barker Long) and Carolyn (Lyn) send our love and prayers to the family. I remember the days when we all lived nearby. Now sister, Nancy is in Texas, brother Burke is in Maine and we in South Carolina.

I remember when I was ten years old Ronnie wanted to go to see the movie Yellow Submarine starring the Beatles. He probably couldn't find anyone to go with him, so I took me! He bought my ticket and candy at the concession stand and I remember feeling very grown up and special. He was always so funny and I have always remembered that special time.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this sad time.
