Dearest Lezlie,  Steve and family,
I was deeply saddened when I learned of your beloved mother’s passing. I absolutely adored Ruby from the get-go and was so thrilled to be assisting her and y’all while I was at Beth Sholom with her. Ruby was definitely a member of my loving extended “family”. I wrote to her and called her after I retired, missing her so much. I feel so fortunate to have known her and interacted with her. I had planned to return to volunteer and continue my Women’s Group of which she was a fun and involved member. I am grateful for the fun and loving memories I will always have of Ruby. May your beautiful memories remain with you always and be a source of comfort for you. She so loved y’all and felt your kindness  and care always.
