HODGES, Rutherford “Dick”, 91, of Henrico went home to be with the Lord in the comfort of his home surrounded by family on February 25, 2019. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Virginia; daughters, Cheryl Osborne (Bobby) and Robin Roane (Walter); grandchildren, Hunter (Deborah), Brooke, Casey, and Cody; and great granddaughters, Allie and Parker. He served his country in the U.S. Marines. He was a lifetime member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. A very special thank you to all of his wonderful caregivers. The family will receive friends 4-7pm, Friday, March 1 at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N Parham Rd. Funeral service and celebration of life will be at 2pm Saturday, March 2 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 4210 Penick Rd. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church, The American Heart Association, or The National Stroke Association.
