Sally Lipsey Hundley

HUNDLEY, Sally Lipsey, died Sunday, March 3, 2013 from complications related to cholangio carcinoma. She was born April 22, 1943 in Farmville, Va. She was the daughter of Sidney Edward Lipsey and Gertrude Kellman Lipsey. Mrs. Hundley graduated from Patrick Henry High School, attended Averett College in Danville, Va., and Smithdeal Massey Business College in Richmond, Va. She was a Mobile Oil retiree. Mrs. Hundley is survived by her husband of 49 years, Charles Campbell Hundley Jr.; a daughter, Beth Turnage and her husband, Bobby; a son, Campbell Hundley and his wife, Tara; and seven grandchildren, Caroline, Neil, William and Charles Turnage, Anna, Jonathan and Sydney Hundley. Additional survivors include her stepmother, Joanne Lipsey; three sisters, Joanne Seilif, Ellen L. Shuman and Linda Cheatham; numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hundley requested that she be cremated.

A memorial service for family and friends will be conducted on Saturday, March 9, at 3 p.m. at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd., Richmond, Va. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society . Online condolences woodyfuneralhome.com.
