Sandi, my sweet & funny friend was an awesome person & gave me family when I moved from Alabama to Richmond. I have so many awesome memories! She was a true friend & when I moved back to Bama, we didn’t let a week go by without talking to each other. My soul hurts but we are friends forever & she will always be with me. Love you shining person & thanks for all the wonderful memories that we all made together! Love you always! Your biggest fan/friend— spread your wings❤️❤️

Dear Maher Family ,

It is like a bullet went through your heart. It hurts.
when Sandi and I where growing up together ,we had some fun times. Playing with her pet rabbit, trick and treating, singing in the church choir, walking to school together, taking tap lessons at Jean Maries School of Dance and when she starred as the bride in the Tom Thumbs Wedding (church) I must tell you I was jealous. Sandi was great. I loved going to her house. Her mom and grandmother would be sewing up a storm The fondist memory was when she stood up in class and said every state way under a minute. She won the dollar prize. Than she said the capitals of all the states.. won another dollar. I will never forget that day in seventh grade. She was a good friend to have on your side. I regret not staying closer to her. Tom, you were a great husband, I saw that at the last reunion. MAY THE LORD BLESS AND KEEP YOU. MAY HIS LIGHT SHINE UPON YOUR FACES AND GRANT YOU PEACE THAT PASSES NO UNDERSTANDING. Always Connie
