Sharon Kruk Lane, 71, rejoined her heavenly family and gained her wings on Friday, April 19, 2024. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Michael Lane, whom she met during her time at Wilkes University; her two children, Stephanie Brooks and Kimberly Britton; two grandchildren, Avery Brooks and Elizabeth Britton; brother, Donald Kruk; as well as many members of her extended family. Sharon was a friend to everyone she met; a devoted family woman; and had an unmatched, lively spirit as unique as it was beautiful. She was a dedicated teacher, spending most of her 31-year teaching career at Goochland County Public Schools, touching the lives of countless students. While Sharon’s family grieves her loss, they are choosing to remember her in a way that honors her spirit in a Celebration of Life Ceremony that will take place at Woody Funeral Home (Parham) on Friday, May 10th, at 3pm with a visitation following.
