BRADSHAW, Stuart C. Jr., 77, went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 7, 2017, after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Conway and June Bradshaw. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Jeanette Fischer Bradshaw; a daughter, Kimberly Nuckols (T.M.); two grandchildren, Austin and Heather; a sister, Dianne Whitlock (Barry); and two nieces, Traci and Ashlee.
Stuart worked at the Reynolds Metals Extrusion plant for 35 years. He loved his Church, Immanuel Baptist, where he was a member for 47 years, and enjoyed teaching Sunday school to 4th grade boys and girls. His greatest joy was serving the Lord and his family. He used to say that ordinary people can do extraordinary things for God. He enjoyed his hobbies, horses for 25 years, riding his Harley with friends, and going to cruise-ins with his antique cars. The family would like to thank all of his friends who visited him in recent months to help boost his spirit.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on October 11, 2017, at Woody Funeral Home on Parham Road. The celebration service will be held at 2 p.m. on October 12, 2017, at Immanuel Baptist Church at Monument Avenue and Thompson Street in Richmond. Donations may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, Missions Fund, 3601 Monument Avenue, Richmond, Va. 23230.
