The T. Nguyen

Nguyen, The Thi, 91, of Richmond, VA went to be with God at 7:00 A.M. September 22nd, 2018. She was born on March 2nd, 1927 in Vietnam. She was a refugee of the Vietnam War that came to the Richmond, VA March 25th, 1980. She was a devoted catholic that always put God and family before herself. As a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother she really enjoyed cooking and seeing all of her family at gatherings. She had a smile and an aura about her that made a room fill with love. She was preceded in death by her parents, Quy Van Nguyen and Thich Thi Nguyen. She is survived by her daughter Hue Trinh; sons: Canh Nguyen, Lanh Nguyen, On Nguyen and Hung Nguyen; grandchildren, Tuan Nguyen, Duke Nguyen, Duyen Eckman, Hong Nguyen, Minh Trinh, Kim Anh Nguyen, Kevin Nguyen, Angela Nguyen, Phillip Nguyen, Christina Nguyen, Madison Nguyen, and Lilly Nguyen; and seven great-grandchildren, Melia Eckman, Ross Eckman, Paxton Nguyen, Paige Nguyen, Grant Nguyen, Grayson Nguyen, and Nolan Nguyen. A visitation will take place on Thursday September 27, 2018 2:00 pm - 6:45 pm follow by a rosary Service 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Woody Funeral Home-Parham and on Friday September 28,2018 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm follow by a rosary service 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Woody Funeral Home-Parham. A Celebration of life will be held at the Catholic Church of the Vietnamese Martyrs 12500 Patterson Ave Richmond, VA 23238 at 10:00 A.M. Saturday September 29th, 2018.
