BOHANON, Thomas "Jerry" Sr., 66, of New Canton, Va., passed away November 12,2010. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sandra Gibson Bohanon; children, Lisa B. Parkhurst and husband, Chris Parkhurst, of Dunnsville, Va., Thomas J. Bohanon Jr. and wife, Vicky, of Glen Allen, Va., Jason R. Bohanon and wife, Monica, of Chester, Va.; grandchildren, Lindsay and Christopher Parkhurst, Colin, Gavin and Ian Bohanon, Khorbin, Cole and Connor Bohanon; sister, Ellen "Gene" Gerner of Texas; brothers, Charles Bohanon of Tennessee and Malcolm "Stan" Bohanon of Virginia. Jerry was a former owner of General Business Machines and Bohanon Office Systems. He was a former president of Highland Springs Businessmen's Association.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 16 at 12 noon with a visitation one hour prior at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 North Parham Rd.
