

Pulliam in eternal rest on September 27,2018. He was born to Ernest and Della Pulliam on
March 19,1930 in Richmond, Va. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 42 years, Leatrice Saylor Pulliam; parents and his siblings,Ernest Pulliam and Katherine Pulliam White. He is survived by his two children, Thomas Hutson Pulliam, Jr. of Richmond, Dena Pulliam Browning and her husband,Tony of Charlottesville, VA; four grandchildren, Lauren, Sydney, Mallory and Jake. After graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School, Tom served in the U.S. Navy for four years. He was a loader on the five inch gun on the destroyer, U.S.S. Kimberly. He crossed the equator twice during his career. He went on to meet the love of his life, Lee, at Reliable Insurance Company. Next, he worked countless hours as a salesman at Haverty’s Furniture Company to support his family. He retired after 30 years of service. He was known as a gracious man that always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eyes. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose. He spent many Friday nights dancing the night away and enjoying a drink with his wonderful friends, Pat and Mike. He had a love of animals. He competed in horse jumping, raised rabbits and raised AKC German Shepherds. Later in life, he enjoyed doing puzzles, working year round on decorations for his Christmas village. He loved watching Dancing With The Stars, So You Think You Can Dance and Fox News. A funeral will be held at Westhampton Memorial and Cremation Park, 10000 Patterson Ave, Richmond, VA, in their mausoleum chapel on Saturday, October 6th, 2018 at 1:00 pm. In
lieu flowers, donations may be in Tom’s honor to Henrico Humane Society and Goodwill. If you
