Wanda Faye Hylton Anderson

Wanda Faye Hylton Anderson, 64, of Emporia, formerly of Richmond, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 15, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents; Pauline and Leon Hylton. She is survived by her daughters; Christine Michelle Anderson and Paula Rhea Anderson, grandchildren; Jerry Nelson Mitchell III, Jackson Garman Mitchell, and her brother K. Wayne Hylton. She retired from St. Mary's Hospital after 25 years of dedicated service as a medical transcriptionist. Her smile and gentle spirit will be missed by all. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm, on Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at the Parham Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Road. Services will be held at 12pm, on Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at the funeral home. Interment Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Central Volunteer Rescue Squad Gasburg.
