

Glover, Wendell Earl, 84, of Powhatan, VA departed this life on May 25, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Mildred Glover; his daughter, Patty Joy Sinichko. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Vivian Glover; his two sons, Barry and Brian and his wife Diana; daughter, Shannon; his son-in-law, Jim Sinichko and daughters, Jennifer and Lori; and her daughter, Mackenzie.
He was employed by the Bell of PA Telephone from 1949 to 1965 and transferred to C&P Telephone of VA where he was in engineering. He retired in 1985. He also built homes with his son Brian from 1987 until 1994 from which they both have many fond memories. He also served in the Korean War. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and is beloved by his family.
A memorial service will be held at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Road, Richmond, Va. on Saturday June 1st at 2pm. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Condolences may be offered at woodyfuneralhomeparham.com.
