William “Bill” W. Eudailey, 85, passed away on May 4, 2013. Born to the late William James Eudailey and Rosa Otelia McLaughlin on September 27, 1927. He was preceded in death by his sister Rose Cummins, He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Barbara House Eudailey, sons William W. Eudailey Jr and wife Patsy, Brian K. Eudailey and wife Bryn-Carol, J. Blake Eudailey and wife Robin, six wonderful grandchildren; Dara, Kaitlyn, Jake, Will, Keith and Meredith, and one great grandson J.C. Bill is also survived by his brother Ralph B. Eudailey and wife Ilse, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He started Eudailey Real Estate Company in 1973 and remained principal broker until his death. He was a graduate of Petersburg High School and the University of Richmond, a member of Theta Chi Fraternity, and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the Richmond Association of Realtors, West Richmond Businessmen’s Association, Western Henrico Ducks Unlimited, The Pogo Club and a Charter member of Three Chopt Presbyterian Church. Mr. Eudailey lovingly cared for his family and everyone he encountered. He always had a big smile and a hug or handshake ready. His pats on the back were full of love and encouragement. He is going to be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd, Richmond, Va. Funeral services will be on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 11:00am at Three Chopt Presbyterian Church with interment following at Greenwood Cemetery off Patterson Ave, Richmond, VA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Three Chopt Presbyterian Church, 9315 Three Chopt Ave. Richmond, VA.
