He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Nancy Schaubach Jewell, daughter Lisa Jewell Moore (Clay), son, Jeffrey Jewell (Dottie); grandchildren Elliott (Daniela), Olivia, Matthew and Mark; great-grandson Liam Jewell; a sister, Mary Wright.
Bill was born in Richmond VA to Mary Taylor and Louis Jewell. After high school, he joined the Air Force. then worked for A T & T Telephone Company for 32 years and retired to spend time with his family, friends and his passions, gardening and grilling.
Funeral Service will be held at Grace Episcopal Church, Goochland VA Monday, Aug 7 at 11:00 AM with interment in church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday, Aug 6 from 3-5:00 PM at the Parham Chapel of the Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N Parham Rd.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or Goochland Vol. Fire Rescue Co. 2, Crozier VA.
