

Tucker, William Paul, 86, of Richmond passed away on October 31. He is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Virginia Grasty Tucker; two daughters, Paula Dutton (Jerry) and Paige Tucker (Douglas Morgan); three grandchildren Jill Goodman (Marc), Jessica Smith (Bobby) and Emily Driver; and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Everette and Lindsay Tucker, and two sisters, Chris Vick and Mary Evans. A native of Madison, Virginia, he served in the WWII European Theater and flew 35 missions as a gunner/flight engineer in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from C&P Telephone Co. with 39 years of service. He was an active, charter member of Skipwith Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 3 at Woody’s Parham Chapel, 1771 N. Parham Rd. A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m on Thursday at Skipwith Baptist Church, 1900 Skipwith Rd.
