Willis Washington "Bill" Driskill Jr.

Bill was a member of the Cadet Corps while attending VPI. He retired in 1992 after 37 years of loyal and dedicated service with the Norfolk and Western and RF&P Railroads.

His hobbies included golfing, woodworking and Virginia Tech football.

Bill was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Rachel Hutts Driskill.

He is survived by his children; Willis W. (Bill) Driskill IV, Daniel L. Driskill and wife Vivian, Stephen H. Driskill and wife Mary and Deborah D. Hosaflook and husband Robby. Nine grandchildren; Meredith Driskill, Jessica Irwin and husband Joe, Kristina Driskill, Dane Driskill and wife Callie, Ethan Driskill, Garrett Pechtimaldjian, Reed Pechtimaldjian, Evan Pechtimaldjian, and Trevor Pechtimaldjian. Also, one great granddaughter, Olivia Irwin, and two siblings, Millard Driskill and Nancy Finley.

There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 10:00am at Greenwood Memorial Gardens off Patterson Ave. in Richmond, VA. At the request of the family, friends and relatives are invited to a reception at the Driskill family home, immediately following the service.
