Woodrow Wilson Pitts, Jr. (Woody), 78, went to his heavenly home on May 1, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow W. Pitts, Sr. and Ruby B. Pitts. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Dianne Pitts of Richmond. He also leaves behind his wonderful daughter, Michele Tuttle and son-in-law, Brandon Tuttle of Richmond. He was “Paw Paw” to his three precious grandchildren, grandsons Luke Tuttle and Blaise Tuttle, and granddaughter Bexley Tuttle, all of Richmond.
Woody was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia and graduated from John Marshall High School. He attended Ferrum Junior College and graduated with an Associate’s Degree. Woody loved visiting and playing with his grandchildren. He enjoyed watching a variety of sports and keeping an eye on his yard and doing the small yard work.
