

Mrs. Ann Brockman Jefcoat, 67, died Sunday, April 21, 2013 at her home in Ridgeland. A visitation will be held from 5pm until 8pm on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home on Highland Colony Parkway in Madison followed by a private burial at a family cemetery.
Mrs. Jefcoat was born on January 18, 1946, in Jackson, Mississippi. She was a graduate of Murrah High School in 1964 and the University of Mississippi in 1969. Ann was a retired educator who worked many years as a federal programs director for the Clinton School District.
Ann was the truest and most pure form of Godly inspiration for all of her family and friends. Her life was dedicated to her Lord and Savior. She had a tremendous musical talent and most enjoyed playing her piano and singing. She treasured long walks with her beloved dog, Iowa. Ann was a grandmother of five, Emily Ann Allen, Samuel Allen, Sarah Allen, Anna Barrett Dowland, and Davis Dowland.
She is survived by her husband Lynn B. Jefcoat, daughter Ashley Allen and husband Scott B. Allen of Livonia, LA and daughter Allison Dowland and husband James Dowland of Brentwood, TN, her mother Eugenia Brockman Mock of Madison, MS, her sister Jean B. Speed of Jackson, MS, her brother Ralph Brockman and wife Jan W. Brockman of Monroe, LA and her brother Bill Brockman and wife Marsha M. Brockman of Monroe, LA.
