

Barbara Clark "Bobi" Frey passed away at age 82 on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at the home of her daughter in Hammond, LA. Mrs. Frey was born on August 25, 1942, in Mobile, AL, and grew up in Greenville, MS, where she graduated from Greenville High School. Before moving to her daughter's home in 2016, she was a resident of Jackson, MS for over 30 years. For many years Mrs. Frey was a parishioner of the Cathedral of St. Peter The Apostle in Jackson. She served as parish president and as Mississippi state president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus. She was a talented artist who enjoyed drawing, gardening and sewing, and she delighted in the company of her grandchildren and their families.
Mrs. Frey was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Louis Frey, and by her parents, Finace Carroll and Ruby Jewell Fisher Clark. She is survived by her brother, Finace Carroll Clark Jr. of Chesapeake, VA, her daughters, Kimberly Pogue Marshall of Hammond, LA, and Amy Pogue Jones of Mississippi, and by her son, Arthur Mitchell Pogue of Jackson, MS. She is also survived by her three step children, Gwen Luthjens (Auggie) of Ocean Springs, MS; Monique Harrison (Andrew) of Vicksburg, MS; and Christopher Frey (Leigh) of Madison, MS.
She is also survived by five grandchildren, Laurence Landon of Baton Rouge, LA, Leicester Landon (Johnnie Bankens) of Hammond, LA, Ashley Farmer (Dennis) of New Orleans LA, Katie Antle (Jeremy) of Guntown, MS, and Dakota Pogue of Indianapolis, IN, four step grandchildren, Jennifer Tablada (Jason) of Cumming, GA, Andrea Hutchinson (Dudley) of Grenada, MS, Crystal Frey of Brandon, MS and Meagan Frey of Ridgeland, MS, four great-grandchildren, and five step great-grandchildren, as well as cousins, nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved.
Memorial services will be held at Parkway Funeral Home & Parkway Memorial Cemetery, 1161 Highland Colony Pkwy in Ridgeland, MS, on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 11:00 a.m
