Barbara Richard had such a big heart and showed it in so many ways in Madison.  Her dedication to the Madison Beautification Commission through the years will be long remembered. She was a tireless worker who brought smiles to children at the annual Easter Egg Hunt and through Christmas in the Park. The Chapel at Strawberry Patch Park stands today as a testament to her love for this city.  We have a better city because Barbara Richard lived here and cared about our citizens. Madison will miss you Barbara. All our condolences and prayers for the family.

I am so sorry for your loss. In recent years I had a good visit with Barbara at a restaurant in Canton after not seeing her or Billy since our Indianola days. My thoughts and prayers are with you in the loss of both of your parents.
