Mr. Barry Jaye Navarre passed away at the age of 50 on January 10, 2024, in Dadeville, Alabama. Barry was born in Marrero, Louisiana, on November 17, 1973. He lived a life marked by deep love for his family, a sharp mind, and a sense of humor that left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Barry attended Pearl River Central High School. Following graduation, he served his country as a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He continued his education at the University of Southern Mississippi, where he earned his Bachelor of Science. Committed to furthering his expertise, he secured a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama. Barry built a distinguished career as a Fiber Strategy Development Project Manager at Georgia Power, where he applied his analytical skill and strategic thinking.
The essence of Barry’s life was his adoration for his family. He is survived by his cherished wife of 27 years, Angela Henderson Navarre; accompanied in legacy by his son, Jackson Navarre (Kathryn); his daughter, Brooklyn Navarre; his mother, Susan Randazzo (Joe); his brother, Bryan Navarre; and his sister, Monica McShan (Brenton). He will also remain an unfading presence in the lives of his mother-in-law, Margaret Nichols (Mickey); his sister-in-law, Amy Pew (Chad); his nieces, Natalie, Nevaeh, and Henley Pew; and his nephews, Austin Navarre and Ethan McShan.
While his father, Donald Navarre, his stepmother, Delores Navarre, and his father-in-law, Butch Henderson, preceded him in death, Barry’s spirit will retain its radiant glow in the hearts of those who loved him.
Barry was an embodiment of warmth and laughter, with a passion for coaching his children’s sports teams, and embracing hobbies such as hunting, grilling, boating, fishing, and carpentry. He approached life with a loving and funny demeanor that drew people to him.
Barry’s legacy is one of unwavering commitment to those he held dear. He leaves behind not just memories but an example of how to love well, laugh often, and live fully. His analytical mind may have been his professional trademark, but it was his heart that truly defined him. Barry Jaye Navarre, a man of immeasurable love and unforgettable humor, will be profoundly missed and always celebrated.
