Bessie Barrow Patrick, 86, died Sunday, June 30, 2013. Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 3, 2013 at 11:00am from the chapel of Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will be Tuesday July 2, 2013 from 5:00 till 7:00pm and Wednesday from 10:00am till 11:00am. Burial will be in Parkway Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Patrick was born in Jackson, MS. The Patrick’s owned and operated Patrick Machinery for over 40 years. Mrs. Patrick served as a partner and the bookkeeper during these years. She enjoyed gardening and had a passion for growing all varieties of beautiful flowers, which were enjoyed by their many friends and neighbors. She was a charter member of St. Matthews United Methodist Church. As a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother she will be missed.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, W.M. ”Pat” Patrick; two sons, W.M. “Mac” Patrick and Alan Barrow Patrick; four grandchildren; W.M. “Will” Patrick, Ryan Patrick, Carlyle Patrick, and April Woodard; three great-grandchildren; Coy Woodward, Colten Woodard, and W.M. “Macon” Patrick V
