Betty Renee (White) Lovelace

Betty Renee White Lovelace, 49, of Raymond, MS entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 16, 2026 at MD Anderson Medical Center in Houston, Texas, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Born on April 28, 1977, in Greenville, Mississippi, to Smith Eugene “Gene” White and Cheryl Massey White, Renee grew up in Clinton, where she graduated from Clinton High School- Class of 1995. She continued her education at Hinds Community College then followed her passion, working with and helping people. She worked in dentistry, neurosurgery, telecommunications and real estate.

Renee was a devoted wife to the love of her life, Terry. She was a dedicated daughter, a loyal sister, a loving aunt and grandmother and a genuine friend to many. To know Renee was to love her. She had a big vibrant smile that could light up any room and a heart that was even bigger. If you allowed Renee to love you, she loved you wholeheartedly and without reservation. Renee never met a stranger, and she had the ability to make everyone feel seen, accepted, valued and loved. Renee had an infectious laugh that could bring joy to any situation and a playful spirit that kept those around her smiling. She loved to laugh, loved to make others laugh, and was always ready with a good-natured prank. Whether she was sharing a joke, pulling a harmless prank, or simply spending time with family and friends, she found joy in making others happy. Her warmth and laughter were contagious, and her generous spirit left an imprint on the hearts of all who knew her.

Renee discovered her love of the outdoors later in life. She enjoyed spending time on the farm she shared with her husband. As an animal lover, Renee loved seeing the different species of wildlife on their property. She also had a passion for deer hunting and found solace on the lake, fishing for largemouth bass.

Family meant everything to Renee. She treasured every moment spent with those she loved and found her greatest joy in her family. Affectionately known as "NaeNae" to her nephew, great nephews and grandchildren, Renee cherished every moment she spent with them. She adored them beyond measure and was one of their biggest cheerleaders, always encouraging them, celebrating their accomplishments, and surrounding them with unconditional love. Throughout every season of life, Renee was surrounded by the unwavering love of her family. Her mother, Cheryl, faithfully remained by her daughter's side throughout her cancer journey, rarely leaving her side and lovingly caring for her until her final earthly breath.

Above all, Renee loved the Lord. Her faith was the foundation of her life and guided her through every joy and every challenge. She lived with grace, compassion, humility, and a servant's heart, always placing the needs of others before her own. Even in life's most difficult moments, she remained steadfast in her faith, trusting God's promises with unwavering confidence.

Renee leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, laughter, kindness, and selflessness. She reminded those around her to cherish every day, love without reservation, and trust God through every season of life. Though her earthly journey has ended, the impact of her life will continue through the countless lives she touched. Her smile, her laughter, and the unconditional love she so freely gave will forever be treasured by those blessed enough to have known her.

Renee was preceded in death by her grandparents, Betty Briggs Sudduth and J.R. Massey, both of Greenville, MS, and other beloved family members who have gone before her.

Renee is survived by her loving husband, Terry Lovelace; her devoted parents, Gene and Cheryl White; her beloved brother, Barrett White and his wife, Suzi; her cherished nephew, Cody White and his wife, Jordyn and her precious great-nephews, Easton White and Beau White, all of Raymond, MS. She is also survived by her stepdaughters, Ashley Lovelace O'Connor and her husband, Daniel of Canton, MS, and Courtney Lovelace Simmons and her husband, Whitt of Brandon, MS; her treasured grandchildren, Nichols O'Connor, Rowan O'Connor and Ella James Simmons; along with many extended family members, dear friends, and all whose lives were blessed by knowing her.

Serving as pallbearers will be Barrett White, Cody White, Joe Sudduth, Nick Lovelace, Brian McIntyre, Larry Howard, Shelton Marberry and Gary Rhodes.

Honorary pallbearers will be Easton White, Beau White, Nichols O’Connor, Rowan O’Connor, Daniel O’Connor and Whitt Simmons.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, and on Friday, July 24, 2026, from 10:00am to 11:00am with the funeral service immediately following, all at Country Woods Baptist Church, 6737 S. Siwell Road, Byram, MS 39272. Graveside service to follow at Parkway Memorial Cemetery, 1161 Highland Colony Pkwy, Ridgeland, MS 39157.

The family would like to give a special “Thank you” to the committed prayer warriors on Renee’s “Team Renee” Facebook page who loved, supported and covered them and Renee in prayer over the past 7 years. They would also like to thank the staff at MD Anderson Cancer Center for the phenomenal care and compassion shown to Renee during her time there and Dr. Carter Milner at UMMC Cancer Center for her support and love for Renee during her fight against cancer. Last but not least, the family would like to give a special thank you to members of the Raymond Fire Department for their assistance in lifting and transporting Renee to the airport for her final journey to MD Anderson.

While our hearts are broken by Renee's passing, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. She has finished her race, kept the faith, and has received the reward prepared for her by the Savior she loved so dearly. We find comfort in knowing she is whole, healed, and forever at peace in His presence.
