There will be a memorial service at St. Catherine's Village Chapel January 3rd at 1:00 PM, following burial at Lakewood Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Walker attended Jackson Public Schools, Sullins College in Bristol, VA, and graduated from the University of Mississippi where she was a member of Chi Omega Fraternity. She was active in the Air Force Officer's Wives Club, a member of the Junior League of Jackson, and a communicant of St. Andrews Cathedral.
She is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Cynthia Walker Kennedy (Thomas), Melissa Walker Wiseman (Gene); two granddaughters, Meredith Kennedy and Brye Darby, and a great grandson, Edgerton Darby.
The family would like to thank the heart team and entire staff of Ocean Springs Hospital for their compassionate care of Betty.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cathedral of St. Andrews or to the charity of your choice.
